Scouting for the North of Cornwall
This District was formed on 1st September 2009, with the almagamation of Bodmin District and Bude & Launceston District.
The District Badge shows the positioning of the District on a map of the County. The emblems represent the Crown of King Arthur who by legend ruled from his Castle in North Cornwall, and his sword Excalibar, which was thrown into in Dozmary Pool on Bodmin Moor by Sir Bedivere, both locations of which are situated in the District boundary.
