Drummers Lodge is the Mid Cornwall District Camp Site, and is situated approximately 3 miles from St.Austell towards Bugle. The site consists of 4 acres of camping and activity area, with three flat grass areas, two ideal for camping. The site is on a country lane, and whilst in easy reach of St.Austell, is quite secluded, and in the heart of the clay country.

The site has a purpose built building, and hardstanding for vehicles. The camp site allows altar fire cooking, and a camp fire circle area makes the site complete in it's surroundings

The south coastal beaches of Polkerris and Par are about 5 miles away, and the north coast about 15 miles. Adventure attractions such as 'Lappa Valley Railway' and  'Dairyland', both offer themed activities, and are about 15 miles from the site. The Eden Project is about 3 miles from the site, and is the Wheal Martyn China Clay Parc with footpaths linking almost direct to these area; a cycle path is also nearby and accessible from the site with a road overbridge to ensure safety of users.

Drummers Lodge is a well maintained and fresh looking District camp site, and with it's central location, it really is it ideal for groups wishing to camp during the summer months.
