Cornwall Development Service
The creation of a dedicated Development team is a new concept for Cornwall and one which gives a greater emphasis in a number of areas.
The team have a wide remit, but all with one over-riding aim, "to support the creation of new Scouting opportunities and to enhance existing Scouting provision throughout Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly".
By March 2009 it is hoped that there will be Local Development Advisors supporting the North, Mid and Southern areas of the County. The Local Development Advisors (LDA's) will take the lead in community inspired projects, potential youth partnerships and all associated local development Inititaives.
Please make use of our team, we are here to encourage, support and advise where invited to do so, and to hopefully make your lives as Scouters that little bit easier.
The South West Regional Development Service
The South West Regional Development Service provides direct advice and support to Groups, Districts and Counties throughout the South West of England, working towards the development and growth of Scouting in local communities.
The Head Quarters Service operates throughout the Counties of Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Avon, Somerset, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Jersey and Guernsey.
