  Cubs Figure of Eight Walk 2010
 
3rd and 4th  July 2010
 
 This challenging walk was completed by over 200 Cubs and leaders from all over Cornwall.
 
The weather was pleasant and fitted the new venue of Tywardreath School, and new route which was enjoyed by all.
 
The Cubs and leaders camped overnight and started early on Sunday morning,with most packs finishing back at the camp site in time for lunch.
 
The organising committee (3rd St Austell Cubs and Sticker Cubs) aided by Mid-Cornwall Scout Fellowship and parents,
manned the checkpoints,provided a shuttle service, as well as cooking 367 evening meals, breakfasts and making packed lunches.

Sixer/Seconder Days
7th & 8th February 2010 at Nine Ashes
 


140 Cubs from all over Cornwall, attended two days of activities at the County Camp Site and Activity Centre, Nine Ashes.

Saturday started with the odd flurry of snow before the Cubs arrived but stayed dry and cold with plenty of mud underfoot.
The Activities included a Zip wire, "Tin Mine" Trail,
Problem Solving,Craft,Cooking,Quiz, Mini Olympics
and Worm Charming!!
(With prizes for the most sucessful "charmers")
 

Sunday was a wetter day but the sun broke through the clouds
just in time for the last session.
