Tomperrow is the Truro District Camp Site, and is situated approximately 5 miles from Truro on the Redruth Road. The site consists of 5 acres of camping and activity area, with four defined grass areas, two ideal for camping areas. The site is on a narrow country road, and whilst in easy reach of Truro, is very much in an isolated valley position.

The site has a purpose built wooden building with newly updated catering facilities, a separate wooden toilet block is for use by campers. The camp site allows altar fire cooking, a camp fire circle, outdoor chapel, a small adventure playground and a selection of pioneering poles are also available. A small stream runs along the boundary of the site, give it that 'feel good - countryside' factor.

The City of Truro is 5 miles from the site, with is selection of shops, and the County's only Cathedral. Adventure attractions such as 'Flambards Adventure Park' and 'Poldark Mine', both offer themed activities, and are about 20 miles from the site.

Tomperrow is a much loved District camp site, worthy of a weekend camp or suitable for a large group camp during the summer months, with it's scouting gateways and traditional construction, the site is really akin to the image and ethos of scouting.
